Interesting Result of Cammy Bean’s Survey for Instructional Designers

It’s interesting to note that “bulk of practicing instructional designers come from liberal arts backgrounds” and that most Instructional Designers do not necessarily hold degrees in Instructional Designing.

So it’s good news for aspiring Instructional Designers.

    Rupa,

    I was surprised by the results myself: so few practicing IDers actually have ID degrees. I’m not sure if this is a factor of who is reading my blog or what. I’d be interested to hear what your experience has been — your own and those of other IDers you know.
